I put two orders on AL, wish I could have made better use of the BOGOF but with international shipping it wouldn't work out.
Mobile Suit Gundam Part 1 BD
Mobile Suit Gundam Part 2 BD
Martian Successor Nadesico BD
Outlaw Star BD
Amanchu CE
The Tatami Galaxy BD
Night is short, Walk on girl BD...
I wonder what will happen with orders which include items which were awaiting new stock at the beginning of the sale but were not marked as sold out, such as First Gundam Part 1 or Outlaw Star.
I have a question for someone who is more knowledgeable about these things. I want to pick up Planetes and FMP IV. Do you think Planetes is likely to sell out before FMP comes up or should I be able to wait until both are available? I live abroad and it would make a big difference in shipping...
I think there is also a French DVD collectors edition which may or may not have the exact same packaging (I just remember seeing it in a shop, but I don't remember if it was taller or anything) at a lower price.
Also, the discs are almost certainly French because the English ones are clones of...
On the Re: Zero director's cut question, basically it combines everything into double episodes, inserts the first OVA where it happens chronologically (it doesn't spoil anything which happens later in the series so you can watch it at that point), has a few slightly different cut scenes and some...
Well, it does seem that they have picked up the pace with the more "successful" releases since about mid 2019, it now feels like there are just a few gaps to fill instead of having a few scattered releases like we did two years ago.
Makes sense that the French branch announced the Blu-ray release since they're screening the first three OVAs today. They talked about F91 a few months ago in the CCA screening so I guess that should also be in the pipeline.
I believe the Japanese Blu-ray box contains both the broadcast and Director's Cut versions of 21-24 (I think it's the DVD set which only includes the OA cut), as well as some other stuff such as the theatrical version of Death, but correct me if I'm wrong. In any case, between the Blu-ray and...
Considering the speed of AL Gundam releases until last year, I think they've upped their game somewhat. Now it seems that there is a new release after every few months. Although given the blatant omissions from the latest French releases (no Operation Meteor and no 0083 OVA) I hope the English...
As others have said, Hanamonogatari is included in the Second Season boxset. The most I would expect from First Season is a Nisemonogatari + Neko Black set like the one they have in Japan.
The packaging of the French 0083 movie release is a bit... misleading, to say the least. I am seriously doubting about buying this one, I have already bought inferior Gundam releases (00 and Wing had less discs than in the UK) to show support for the franchise and the local shops, but excising...
An Amazon listing has appeared for a French Blu-Ray edition of Gundam 0083 (the title implies it's the movie but I hope it also includes the OVA) with a release date of March 25. I'd also expect a UK release within a few months.
Gundam 0083-Le Crépuscule de Zéon-Edition Collector Bluray...
If you're trying to find one, I think the French version (same discs as the English one) can still be found with relative ease. I recently saw a copy selling for 25€ at a shop in Paris, but I don't know about any online shops.
