Does anyone even use profile commenting?

Leaving comments on people's profiles isn't really my thing. I know the feature's there but it's just not my style of communicating with people. I do like the profiles though, they're quite informative when you want to see what style of anime/manga someone generally finds most entertaining, this...

    Final Fantasy: Dissidia

There's a lot of new media regarding Square's Final Fantasy titles lately. I figured a few of you would be happy to check out 1UP's recent hands-on sessions with the game at Jump Festa '07. Check it out, sounds positive so far but coming from 1UP I'm hardly phased by this.

    Anime Websites

Yeah, I'm already subscribed to Japanator since it's the sister site of Destructoid which I already frequent. I have Anime News Network already bookmarked too, but what about this website called theOtaku, is it any good and what's it about exactly?

    ADV Preview CD

Hm, I take it not many people have watched the series' mentioned in the topic. I guess I'll have to dig around older specific topics on each anime to get a rough idea of what to expect.

So are those the GameSpot/IGN/1UP for the anime industry?

Favourite Site/TV show/Magazine/other for Game Reviews

Edge Magazine & Destructoid.com are the two sites I take most seriously when it comes to reviews. However I never depend on a single writer's opinion when deciding on the purchase of a product, so websites like GameRankings and MetaCritic also play a role. Lastly, after the amusing events with...

    Anime Websites

It's a slightly silly question but as I'm not very experienced in the likes of anime and manga it means I'm also not familiar with the popular websites for it. When I hear about a video game, I can check the various major websites for the latest news, reviews, features et cetera. Now I know AUKN...

Eternal Sonata and other RPGs for the 360!

If you rarely pay attention to story and want something similar to Final Fantasy in terms of gameplay mechanics then I imagine Blue Dragon won't disappoint you. Based on your response, you may not want to bother with Mass Effect and make a choice between Blue Dragon or Eternal Sonata.

    ADV Preview CD

So I checked out the promo disc that comes with one of the recent issues of Neo Magazine. I watched episode one of Pumpkin Scissors and Kurau Phantom Memory, along with episode two of e Chevalier D'eon. The first episode of Kurau was pretty good in terms of visuals and music, seems like it's...

Eternal Sonata and other RPGs for the 360!

The best RPG you can find for the 360 at the moment depends on what kind of RPG you're looking for. Now if you're one of those gamers who only play J-RPGs then you can choose between Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon. My personal recommendation out of those two would be Eternal Sonata, as it's a...

    Mass Effect

To avoid repeating myself I'm going to paste my blog entry... I'm just watching the credits as I type. I wasn't expecting Mass Effect to end so soon in all honesty, as KOTOR was quite lengthy if my memory serves me well. The music during the credits is really lame though, sounds like music...

    Assassin's Creed

I don't know why people mention how much replay is in a game as if it's so easily obvious. Everyone has different paces, so there's not nine or nine hundred hours of gameplay in Assassin's Creed, only as much as you play it until boredom kicks in which could be any time. I completed Assassin's...

    Call of Duty 4

By the way for those of you who were wondering, many are saying that the game's most difficult moment is when you're playing on Veteran while waiting for the helicopter to extract you from the amusement park during the sniper mission.

    What Games Are You Playing?

Playing Assassin's Creed of course, it's so enjoyable.

    Call of Duty 4

Yeah, that scene was very dramatic. However, the best was when the final boss is standing above you, and your dying comrade tosses over a pistol and you shoot him and his two guards. It's one of those action movie scenes, and it was very satisfying for some reason.

    Assassin's Creed

I'm going to be cheap and just paste my impressions from my blog... I bought Assassin's Creed yesterday and I was very impressed. So impressed that I played it for seven hours straight, without a hint of boredom. The free-running mechanic is so well executed that it makes up for the lesser...

    Call of Duty 4

Okay so I was finally bothered to play this game, and the singleplayer is so far very impressive. Though in games like Halo 3, the universe was at stake, you never felt a sense of urgency or danger. Call of Duty 4 makes the combat engaging and gives you a sense of urgency. You feel that if you...

    Call of Duty 4

Because 'Hamerzeit' is the stupidest game mode ever conceived for matchmaking.

    Assassin's Creed

Generally speaking the Xbox version of Assassin's Creed seems to be getting the most interest, as the stereotype for Xbox gamers is the whole violent games and sports games view. A lot like how Devil May Cry 4 is multi-platform, yet people still think of the PlayStation 3 when the franchise name...
