Dont really know what to vote for myself here. Some stuff I want comes out in the UK, but I buy R1 releases for better quality of packaging, earliar release dates etc. I suppose I might like the UK market more if more obscure things that I like made it here.

I never really understand the companing about bad dubs when the title will come with an uncut Japanese track anyway. Always another option. If you dont like a dub, watch the Japanese instead. All companies except 4Kids usually give you that choice. And besides it hasn't even been dubbed yet...

Seeing as Naruto is a Viz license and there are people fansubbing it still, I really don't think that will change the fact people will easily be able to get their weekly fix.

While I'm not a Bleach fan, its worth pointing out that Viz havent actually messed anything up anime wise for a while (if ever, I dont know their full anime history). Nobody knows if Full Moon has been altered, and judging by the fact Inuyasha has uncut releases and Naruto has uncut releases...

Viz is pretty infamous for editing or changing manga a bit. Not all thier titles are edited of course, but quite a few of them are. The manga edit forums on animeondvd have a fair few posts about them. I dont think they have done a massive hack job on anything like CNX have though

I agree, while im aware Saikano isn't a direct translation or anything, it just happens to sound a hell of a lot better.

The trailer for this was fairly entertaining, nice to see Laharl,Etna and Flonne as well as character such as "mid boss" come to life as animated characters. However I've got a sneaking suspicion I will find the anime itself to kiddy to be really engaging.
