According to the Japanese Wikipedia she apparently started her career as a hentai artist with her work aimed at women. Obviously being wikipedia this might not actually be true though.
According to a report on Anime On DVD at the American anime convention Anime Central 2006, Manga Entertainment announced some new licenses and confirmed a speculated license. Manga confirmed they had licensed extremely gory new horror series TOKKO which had been previously speculated as being...
Erm seeing as it is rated 15 uncut by the BBFC. There is no way that this title is hentai. The US "recommended rating" for it is 17+ aswell once again under the hentai 18+ rating. So you can safely bet its fairly adult, but not porn.
While its not on your list, I certainly think Berserk is one of the best anime out there and well worth a purchase.
Yay someone who agrees with me about the ending of Last Exile. Last Exile IS a good series that is well worth seeing, but the end is truly awful if you ask me.
According to ANN, ADV Films have announced the licensing of UFO Princess Valkyrie Season 2 (UFO Princess Valkyrie ~ December Nocturne). The first season is currently being released on DVD in the US and the acquisition of the second series may well indicate that it is performing well. The series...
Not many other people like them but my favourite shows of the new season are Simoun and Strawberry Panic ;). Simoun is certainly my favourite anime this season overall.

I Loved Prince Valient, was a great show and worryingly I actually remember the theme tune.
I also loved the Animals Of Farthing Wood, was a great story

4) Pefect Blue (Anime)

Personally I love it so far (watched the first DVD), and actually posted a review of the first four episodes in my blog earliar (does have spoilers in the later part of it though so if you do look be warned). I will say that the mecha isn't the main part of the show (although there is a sizeable...
