Japanese Blu-rays with English Support (Subtitles and Audio) Thread

Good spot as CDJapan for some reason doesn't list any even though the Japanese description they've been provided does.

This is not uncommon for CDJapan. However, I've never seen them err in the other direction; they often don't list subtitles for something that has them, but I've never noticed them listing them for something that actually does not have them.

It may simply be a matter of them just not having the info initially and not updating. I know of several cases where a game's release date was delayed but they never updated to reflect that change.

「あさがおと加瀬さん。」(2018) ”Kase-san and Morning Glories”.

Anecdote: Don’t know how common this is but the first version of the Japanese discs for this animated film might be kinda unusual since these discs came with English subtitles as soon as this adaptation hit cinemas. From the movie premiere onwards, the first version of the Blu-ray was sold exclusively to ticket holders in film theater shops while the original theatrical run of “Kase-san”remained in progress.

English subtitles have been included on subsequent general release Japanese discs of the animated "Kase-san and Morning Glories" movie as well.

Footnote: The official site no longer loads for me but some of these discs remain in circulation.

Also available in a few other regions and languages.

Side note: Lyrics for the prequel music clip, set to a Oku Hanako song, can be found online. The music clip itself remains accessible through PonyCanyon’s YouTube channel.
