I’ve placed two separate orders with the MediaOCD storefront to take advantage of their latest 40% sale and also to acquire three pre-order titles:

Order II:
Lupin the 3rd: Part II SDBD (Discotek Media)
Master of Martial Hearts BD (AnimEigo)
Vampire Princess Miyu BD (AnimEigo)

Order I will take its place with my late-August/Early-September Stackry haul, whilst Order II will likely fall into a Black Friday Stackry haul in November.

Pre-ordered Digimon: Season 4 Frontier (English Language Version) – Blu-ray from MediaOCD store.

I am hoping I can bundle up the Japanese version of Digimon Tamers and the third Digimon movie collection once they become available to order at a later time.

Honestly, MediaOCD stocking Discotek releases has been a God send. No longer having to ship through Crunchyroll/Stackry for me as I don't really get large hauls.

  • Lupin the Third: The Fuma Conspiracy (DVD)
I have finally found one of the holy grails of OOP Discotek releases that I want for my collection for under £50.00, this usually goes into the hundreds so I had to buy this instantly, no hesitation.

From what Discotek have said, this is unlikely to get a blu-ray which is unfortunate which is why I have been searching for this release for so long. At the same time Discotek have said similar things many times about other titles yet they still came to fruition so never say never but as this is Lupin, I'm not letting this opportunity pass me.

This is also my second favourite Lupin movie so I am glad to have an easily accessible way to watch it now.

Two recent eBay purchases:
  • Cyberpunk Edgerunners Collector’s Edition BD (ATA)
  • Devilman Crybaby Collector’s Edition BD (ATA)
Slightly kicking myself for missing these now OOP titles but I managed to get both for reasonable prices relative to the OOP market - Cyberpunk wasn’t cheap but I managed to get an offer accepted that was almost half the asking price and the alternative was to gamble on a £70 CeX order which from experience can be very hit-and-miss when it comes to the condition of the item.

With the Crunchyroll Store becoming exclusive to higher tier members which is something I don't plan on doing, I have made my likely final order on the store and mainly for one title.

I'd originally planned to collect the rest of Demon Slayer via the Aniplex releases but I never got around to picking them up prior to this change so I will go with the Crunchyroll UK standard editions going forward but I did want to grab the 4K UHD release of the Mugen Train movie as there is no 4K release in the UK and it is my favourite part of the series.

This will mark my first and likely last Aniplex release for the foreseeable future.

I also added Panda! Go Panda! to qualify for free shipping, I'd also sold my DVD copy of it some time back as I'd planned to upgrade anyway.
