What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Dis!

Been excited about this cause I thought finally I can experience a FF game in Japanese, given I've been complaining about the stupid language restriction on FFX remaster.. But my son played the Demo and loved it, so now he wants to play it together, therefore I have to use English.. ah well, it's a father & son moment, not gonna give that up!

p.s. No idea why I can't load an upright photo on here

Fixed~ Happens sometimes on AUKN, that 'image sideways' thing: not sure what the cause (if phone image resolution or a bug on site) but easy to fix by edit/rotating the image using a program like IrfanView. Or any free image editing program. After downloading it was sideways, too, fyi.

That aside, until reading your message, I was semi-sure you were an exotic female given the shoujo (albeit bald) avatar, aversion to capital name lettering, Ocean Waves and... dis. Is it your gender or the father/son bonding that is a lie!?

PS: FFVIIR's dub is quite excellent, despite Nippon voice acting generally having more range. Hearing Barret voiced by an actual black man made me as happy as any Tifa/Aeris fanservice. Given I'm very straight, it's odd... maybe I just resonate strongly with his tsundere comical manliness. 'Tis a mystery~

IDK much if anything about the DBZ card game
Loved watching DBZ back in the day. No idea if I ever watched it in any sort of order though 😹😹

Most of my TCG stuff is more like mini artbooks rather than actually knowing how to play the games.

Things like the Traptrix starter deck (Yugioh) for example have a great selection of cute artwork (and buying both EN and JP Decks can show just how Yugioh gets its art edited)

Longer skirt and less cleavage, standard stuff.

Don't worry nobody knows how to play Yu-Gi-Oh anymore 😂

I used to play Pokemon TCG but never competitive, cause I never liked the way competitive meta looks. Now I only collect Japanese full arts.

I remember buying Rail Wars just because it of the railway setting. Choo choo.
Yeah, same here. I've always been a big railfan ever since I started my first job out of College. I worked in a service department that had a 4 other techs who were railfans, so we formed an official club and would plan six weekend trips each year traveling to scenic locations with lots of trains to photograph and video tape. We had anywhere from 4-15 people attend these railfan trips; we used ham radios to keep in contact as we spread out along the tracks for different photo angles; and we did this for 15 years before we finally disbanded the club. I have about 7,000 Kodachrome slides and probably 100+ hours of 8mm video taken on these trips, all slowly rotting away in storage now.
