The General Conversation Area

In one week my new bookcase should be delivered. So I’ve managed to get most of my stuff into boxes and I hope to spend next weekend getting things in order. This requires getting rid of a lot of stuff but hopefully that will also work out.

Got really bored at 1am and went through two boxes (of twelve) and set aside things to get rid off. My tactic is to get rid of 20% of my collection and it’s easier for movies and games than it sounds. Manga and anime is going to be harder but one thing at a time.


15/01 - I've been up late every night sorting through boxes and shelves. It's marvellous fun but I'm doing nothing besides eating, sleeping, working and thinking about new old things to get rid off. So no movies or anime or books for me.

Do they still have the partnership with National Trust to offer free or reduced price entry for English Heritage members?

I'm not made for the heat at all. I'm incredibly pale, my hair is way too long, I own nothing but jumpers, and 12 degrees here used to be "taps aff" weather. What we've been having lately is ridiculous. I actually checked the weather this morning, saw it was to get to 17 degrees and thought "Huh... Cold one today" xD

I’m definitely not built for heat either. I’m all about jumpers, cozy mornings and sipping a hot cup of tea while watching the chill outside. Autumn’s the best lead-up to proper winter, I even find myself checking snow chances sometimes just out of curiosity!
