As it’s restricted to the clearance range, I know I’ve got them all so won’t be looking to order.

Those CR set prices are actually pretty decent. Worth re-posting in the deal thread as not everyone will see it buried deep in this thread, at sale's end. That aside...
'Tis most displeasing to have waited all 12-13 days for AL to stop flashing me - in the misguided hope the final flasher would be worthwhile - and seeing the blue, empty nothingness of that Eva release... when I own the NGE giganto squared edition (two, in fact: gave one away). It left me in such a state of apathy I was rendered unable to join comrade Google, whom doubtless bullet pointed his displeasure.
On the plus side, I did not want it, so the despair of putting it in my basket only for eBay reseller scalpers to immediately take all the copies in 30m was evaded. On the non-plus side, I waited two weeks to order, and the one thing I intended to get not a early bird redux went out of stock at the very end. I mean, most likely that saved me wasting monies, as Akame ga Kill not very good... but Taku Iwasaki's music was contained within its shittiness.
Last year there was the Nadia UE+book. This year AL could've done an early birdy with the giant, very black Macross Plus square that is seemingly going unwanted. BUT NO! 'Twas instead chucked in with CEs. And now, I cry alone, inside.
The lyrics of this vid/song, aptly playing over Evangelion, articulates my feelings better than words, and goes with the earlier music off topic discussion.

Well, settled in the end to use my discount code for Naruto Shippuden. Not on the deal but might as well use the extra 5% off and no shipping costs. Not as good as the original deal but that's my fault for missing it.

If you want some bullet-pointy
Positives:
- I’d suggest it’s a pretty good price for the comprehensive 11-discs of NGE media.
- This is the “full” set of 11 discs, not the cut-down 5-disc release.
- If you want a set that fits your shelf, you’re after something like this and not the UE.
- It lived up the the ‘flash sale’ label in more ways than one. Went out with a bang.
- I’ve already got the LD/LP-sized square (with pottery trinket and NERV lanyard pass). This only offers a poster and card box as different.
- It’s merely a card slip for some Amaray cased discs. The only extra being an advertising poster, which does not really a CE/LE make (although that’s ignoring how this is the only way to get the extra discs).
- The “Fly me to the moon” credit variants by cast members are still all missing.
- It’s OOS.
- There’s no more Xmas sale.

If it’s in a mystery box, some will probably flog it to CEX, but that likely means another month or two at the earliest. And CEX only seem to list the standard version for £22 + £3p&p (so they’ll probably be mixed in with that stock).

Hang on. That’s less than the non-free-delivery UK cost.

You'll find that £3.40 is letter mail and that parcel post is significantly more.

NGE is back in stock on the site lol guess it was only oos for whatever quantity they wanted to go up for the flash sale or maybe they cancelled orders from folks who bulk ordered 
Edit: out of curiosity i checked only 1 copy but it's back at 92 pound sooo oof, no idea if it was more when i first got alerted it restocked around 10:15pm

It's been so weird this year for me. The last three of these sales I have spent easily £150-200 but this time I haven't bought anything. The way things went last year left a bad taste in my mouth so I was already put off. There were some really good deals but I already had them and the couple of items I might have been interested went out of stock because I was waiting to see what was in the flash deals to try and make use of my 10% off voucher which was a little disappointing but sadly to be expected with the way these sales are set up.
It's not just the sale though, I looked back through my orders and I have bought significantly less this whole year than ever before. I think it is a combination of factors such as lack of clarity from AL regarding delays etc to some of the collectors editions being poor value for money (charging nearly double the price of a standard release for some art cards and a poster) I think I'm at the point where I will only buy from AL if there is literally no other choice and even then I'll probably have second thoughts.
I hope everyone who bought stuff enjoys it and I hope you all have a great Christmas

New here. In my view it was a superb sale, I managed to get a lot of anime that ive been itching to get for awhile. Mainly the Gundam UC series. But also was mint to get the first 4 parts of Naruto for the price. I hope the last 4 parts get similar sale next time as id be keen to finish that off. Very much looking forward to the two mystery boxes I purchased. I got the tv box 1 and clearance. Not a bad effort considering im buying from NZ, though my bank account im sure is screaming at me.

Took a few chances this year to get some series I haven't seen yet. Always a gamble waiting for a potential flash sale when you already have things in your cart that could go out of stock at anytime. Learned that the hard way last year with Snow White and the Red Hair. I got:

I'm in Australia so I feel your pain. That 25 pound flat postage rate is a killer, especially if we want things in multiple flash sales.
