What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

This gorgeous illustrated edition of Pollyanna that I've wanted to buy for over a year! I'm so excited to have a copy of this as I've long wanted to read it and I always thought this looked gorgeous, I was lucky enough to get one that's in not far off like new condition (def very good) from the US secondhand book site Thriftbooks and this is even more impressive given this edition was first published in 1988 and is long OOP, I know these sites are always a bit of a gamble on condition and so on but they really came through for me this time and I couldn't be happier! I'm uncertain if it's fully unabridged but it is 189 pages in a bit bigger than A4 size, and has 30 full page illustrations the rest is text, font size is fairly typical, you can get some idea from the bit of text page opposite the one where she's resting in bed, so at least it would not appear to be severely abridged, there is also a foreword from Hayley Mills who was in the Disney Pollyanna film and the original Disney The Parent Trap movie, I've not actually seen the Disney Pollyanna but I love the old Parent Trap film so that was a cool addition for me

I have watched Hells Paradise and Am I Actually the Strongest but wanted a physical copy. Strongest is the sort of Isekai/Reincarnation that I lap up.
Will rewatch both.

Wanted something new and had a few possibles.
Bocchi the Rock won over Bungo Stray Dogs and others that were more expensive.

20% extra off all three.

If I'd known there were some folk wanting Code Geass, I'd have put my unfinished copy up. 15 episodes in 5 years!

If you're going to play on the go with the case I would advise changing the charger, the hollow at the back is sized for a small US block with folding pins and not that monstrosity that it ships with here.

Hey, I like those, Otomo - I have a bunch of Girls Frontline decals I put on the back window of my Mazda CX5 two years ago, as a big part of my Girls With Guns mobile shrine:

Girls Frontline is a 2016 mobile game for Android and IOS and later available on Steam, although I never played it and know absolutely nothing about it. There is also a 1-cour anime series made in 2022 that is available on Crunchyroll, I did watch that. I pretty much had to get all the Girls Frontline decals for my car because there were over 200 decals of different Girls Frontline characters available for purchase online, but very few girls with guns decals from other anime series.

Unfortunately I need to replace most of the color decals on my window already, as they are either fading and/or peeling - they are not as tolerant to direct sunlight as the plain white Ghibli decals I had on my Scion xD.

Nick Nolte and Powers Boothe directed by Walter Hill.
I'll probably watch the film at some point, I wanted to see the interviews. Particularly the one with Michael Ironside. I wonder if he'll lose a limb in this film.

Chillin in Another World with Level2 Super Cheat Powers is another title I've watched but wanted a copy. It'll be cheaper over 2026, I decided now was the time. It'll be an easy rewatch.
