I might treat myself to a new tablet as a Christmas gift to myself, considering this Samsung I'm currently using is getting older, battery life decreasing. Purchased this one back in November 2019 and it was second hand then.

Just curious, would you potentially purchase an iPad Pro or is it not your thing/don't like Apple products? I just ask cuz I have an iPad Pro and it's performed well for many years, not cheap though ofc, but I do/did (cuz I haven't done a lot of stuff like that recently tbh but that's emphatically not the tablet's fault lol) really enjoy making art on it a lot, the Apple pencil is pretty rad! Are you looking to use it more for gaming, reading, digital art or something else? :)

(Also sorry I don't have an amusing "treat yourself" .gif to hand) XP

As a big bluetooth fan I 100% agree there should be a choice! (I always used to break the cable on my headphones accidentally before, hence why I love that technology so much) :)

A friend at work has a Samsung Tab S6 Lite which is a newer device with a headphone jack. Think it only got released last year, she loves it. Also believe the A9 and some Lenova models still have them.

Got no clue which is best though.
 
Yes, I have the 11" Samsung Galaxy A9+ 128GB and it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack in the lower left corner. It also has quad speakers, two on each side, with Dolby Atmos, so it does sound really nice and much louder compared to my old Fire 8. It also has a Micro SD slot for up to 1 TB of memory. I got it on sale on Amazon back in December of last year for $199. I love it, and use it every day/night whenever I am in bed; I have a metal adjustable-arm tablet mount that fixes onto the top edge of the headboard so I can watch my tablet while laying down or sitting up in bed.

I watched the first two nightmare on elm street films today. i don't get the fuss they so predictable but I'm not saying there crap but I think they should of stopped after part 2 but I am going to watch the rest of them since I've not seen them all before
 
I just finished a hell of a project-an english bluray of Air. I took the video from my jpbd set of Air along with the english audio and the subtitles from my usdvd set of Air. There was a lot of resynching, retiming and such but it was worth the effort. Air was an early series from Koyoto animation and had beautiful art-it was also one of the earliest japanese anime bluray sets.
 
So earlier today my mother and I got to see the photos and videos that my daughter and my ex took while on their overseas trip to Ireland last month. They showed us areas of Dublin, Trinity College, The President's House, The Brazen Head Pub, Guinness Brewery, Blarney castle, Rock of Cashel, Dingle, The South Pole Inn, Great Blasket Island, Cliffs of Moher, and vast rolling hills of beautiful countryside with... lots of sheep! They even got to see what they said was the most vivid double rainbow they have ever seen - but their tour bus wasn't quite fast enough to catch up with that leprechaun's pot of gold at the end!

My daughter got my mother some O'Neill's Shamrock Shortbread and a Kate Kearney's Traditional Irish fudge bar, and she got me a small gift pack of Irish Whiskey with a small glass and a dark chocolate bar from their tour of the Kilbeggan Distillery:

Wow an eBay seller cocked up by sending incorrect details for my parcel to dpd and thay are going to send it back to them and are accusing me of wasting their time they are the one who sent the email for payment of import to my dpd which is only for business and private customers.what an asshole and stereotype of the French are rude is true.
