ATRI -My Dear Moments- eps 9 & 10
Heart of the matter and memories come flooding back.

Pseudo Harem eps 11 & 12 (complete)
License and choice.
This was such a sweet rom-com with the central couple bouncing off each other and pretty much zero "will they, won't they" nonsense. Unfortunately there was a bit of dumb drama right at the end (Rin performs in a short film and gets talent spotted when it goes viral and then she suddenly feels she has to choose between her career and going out with Eiji! I guess it's the dumb Japanese thing where female public figures can't possibly have a career AND a relationship! I suppose Japan is going to Japan).
Background art is very basic like a stage backdrop, seeing as acting is major part of the plot that might have been a choice? The characters on the other hand were very expressive.

Meddling, run, rip the band aid off and cliffhanger!?
I realised after praising Pseudo Harem yesterday for having no "will they, won't they" nonsense that I still like this a lot despite that being the whole point of the romance part of this story, but as this is more of a drama than that then you'd lose the dramatic tension too early especially as this became a love triangle after a while. Although saying that it is still a little annoying that our MC hasn't got round to a confession yet after 25 episodes! There were some choices made towards the end at least, but we'll have to wait for season 2 for more progress. I'm having a hard time deciding who I actually want to win, I think one problem is we don't spend too much time with either girl away from our MC, I would have liked to see more of both their performances in their sports for example, but then I noticed that despite the artwork looking quite Shoujo-ish it's actually a Shounen Jump title! So our male lead was always going to be the main focus. I was definitely starting to side with Hina after she was brave enough to confess first and Chinatsu either doesn't have a clue about his feelings for her (possible) or isn't as brave about her feelings (she does seem to like him). And that's despite me finding her a little annoying at first.
The sports aspect was a bit too heavily focused on training rather than tournament games, but with the romance being a slow burn they can't have too many tournaments packed in to maintain a realistic time line, I think we've only covered half a year in the 25 episodes, some 12 episode shows cover a year or more!
Art was quite nice, with the odd anomaly like really thin legs in some shots and the sport part was well animated.

More from Autumn 2024. These are the 3 new shows I picked out:

Yakuza Fiancé ep 1
The granddaughter of an Osaka Yakuza boss is sent to Tokyo to meet the grandson of another Yakuza boss. At first he seems sweet, but he turns out to be a masochist and tells her I no uncertain terms that she's boring and only good for her looks. Her grandfather tells her to win him over and then dump his ass in a years time, so she has to toughen up to do just that.
Could be fun to see how much Yoshino can get away with doing bad stuff to Kirishima as he turned out to be a jerk. The art is very nice, quite retro.

Negative Positive Angler ep 1
Tsunehiro is flat broke and has 2 years to live! After getting chased by loan sharks he ends up getting caught, literally, by a group of happy-go-luck anglers. As he's stuck in the middle of Tokyo Bay with nothing to do until they go back he tries his hand at fishing himself.
Quite depressing at first, the very first scene is him trying and falling to hang himself! But the angling gang seem a fun bunch, so it could be a good watch.

TsumaSho ep 1
Keisuki is happily married with a daughter until his wife is killed in an accident. 10 years later he's still not over it and is never seen smiling at work and his daughter works from home and they eat konbini junk food instead of cooking healthy. Then a 10 year old girl knocks on their front door claiming to be the reincarnation of their wife/mother!
Mostly set up with a flashback to the couple meeting, etc and then the introduction of the reincarnated version. Could be fun, but not too much to go on at the moment.

Call of the Night Season 2 (English Dub) Episode 21

Dusk Beyond the End of the World Episode 4

My Awkward Senpai Episode 4

Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! Episode 4

Solo Caming for Two Episode 16

This Monster Wants to Eat Me Episode 4

Yandere Dark Elf (Uncensored) (English Dub) Episode 6-7

Dusk Beyond the End of the World episode 4 Commotion and chaos.

Solo Camping for Two! episode 16 Steadfast.

Smile Precure! episodes 1-6, Precure All Stars Movie New Stage: Mirai no Tomodachi (Film)

Ambassador Magma - Episodes 7 - 13 [Final]

While being generally quote slow paced overall, the pace did pick up in the second half and despite the pacing I still enjoyed the story and I think it holds up quite well.

Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure - Episodes 1 - 8

Another one that I've not seen in 20 years! I'm not watching Discotek's release but the (quite nice) Geneon boxset I bought over 20 years ago. I remember when Dual was released in the early 00's the forums were initially full comments about how it was a terrible Evangelion clone, and while it is clearly heavily influenced by Evangelion, Dual! does tell its own story and I thought it was actually pretty good when I first watched and so far I'm enjoying watching it again.

Ranma 1/2 (2024) - Episode 15

Gundam 08th MS Team

One of my favourite entries in the Gundam universe, after 0083 was released I was holding out that AL would release it so never bought the US release but really disappointed 08th MS Team and 0080 haven't got UK releases so far.
