If it looks like 2 discs glued together that's because it is, dvd9s have 2 read layers as opposed to dvd5s which have a single read layer.

I have lots of old super rare dvds and sets and everytime I take one out to play they've worked perfectly. (Knock on wood!)

I'm revisiting both seasons of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid since I watched the movie a few weeks ago at the theater. I'd only watched them subbed before and this time dubbed and I was surprised at how well done the dub was not to mention that the characters are a total hoot.

I was looking around for something new to watch and stumbled on Basquash and found out that Shoji Kawamori was behind it so even though it's oop I found a new copy for $15. It arrived yesterday and after watching 3 episodes I like it.

I have the oop bluray of Sky Blue that I got about 12 years ago and even then it was very difficult to find. Well worth it, though. I think it was released by some outfit called Tartan video.

I've been reading the Magical Girl Nanoha EXCEEDS manga and if the recently announced anime of the same name follows the storyline it's going to be an excellent series.
