You just know something is very wrong when Sentai which is a much smaller company has more monthly releases than crappyroll.

Shirobako The Movie-but one major problem, the subtitles are white with a very thin black outline and no shadow and a thin font. In other words UNREADABLE! Guess I'll have to remux the bluray with some of my custom legible yellow subtitles.

Take a closer look, the knees blend in with the thighs and calves. They look like a fleshy tube with little or no differentiation between sections.

Damn but I love Call Of The Night, I just hope that we don't have to wait another 2 years + before we get season 3.

What you guys doing right now.

Over a month and a half since I got nailed by a pickup and I'm making great progress but still have a way to before I reach "normal". Probably another month and 1/2 before I do.

Ronja The Robbers Daughter-despite all the reviews complaining about crappy cg animation and a lethargic story line I'm finding it to be an endearing and entertaining series 1/2 way in.

    Ronja the Robber’s Daughter Review

The cg looks fine to me and while I wished the show had faster pacing I found it to be tolerable. I really didn't find watching 26 episodes a chore at all-in all I'd rate it 7 1/2 out of 10 points.

I've looked at a lot of Range Murata's art and he seems to love half clad lollies and if you look at the legs of his characters they seem to be malformed.

What you guys doing right now.

I'm currently recovering from being hit by a pickup truck Nov. 7th. I had broken bones on my left knee, right elbow and middle finger on my left hand and just got out of physical rehab yesterday. I've still got 2 or 3 months before I get back to normal, at least I can watch a box of bluray...

    The General Conversation Area

I just finished a hell of a project-an english bluray of Air. I took the video from my jpbd set of Air along with the english audio and the subtitles from my usdvd set of Air. There was a lot of resynching, retiming and such but it was worth the effort. Air was an early series from Koyoto...

WARNING Funimation's late 00's early 2010's DVD's are all Getting Disc Rot

If it looks like 2 discs glued together that's because it is, dvd9s have 2 read layers as opposed to dvd5s which have a single read layer.

    Anime at the cinema

Chainsaw Man has been showing nonstop at my local theater for the past few weeks and I've resisted going to see it mainly because I watched a few episodes of the tv series and hated it, Caveat Emptor I guess.

WARNING Funimation's late 00's early 2010's DVD's are all Getting Disc Rot

I have a lot of old anime dvds from various vendors and a lot of them have different shades of bronze and they all play fine. I think that it's just a characteristic of some dvds. Disc rot is a term that originated with laserdiscs when due to poor manufacturing the laminated layers would...
