SAC is based on the film, with the same characters (as well as some new ones), but it is sort of set in an alternative universe where Motoko and Section 9 never encountered the Puppet Master, as well as some other changes. Innocence follows on from the first film.

Personally mate, I don't think Destiny is worth it. I was quite impressed with Gundam Seed, but Destiny was just too much of a 'money' series. It started off pretty good but they lost the plot about halfway through it. btw. Kira and co aren't actually the bad guys, they maybe labelled so by...

series is good, but ends with... well a bit of an anti-climax, but even so it's still very good. I wonder if they'll make another series of it, as the anime ends where volume 2 end of the Manga, and the story in the manga is still ongoing up to Volume 4.

Isn't Gunslinger Girl supposed to be released on DVD this year? If so I'll have that. Anyway, I'll get 2nd Gig as well, but only the full box set, not the individual volumes.

I'm going to wait out for the box set as well, it'll be cheaper overall and should have any bugs that appear on the single releases fixed.

Yeah, the tachikomas are very well presented. I wasn't at all impressed with the dub voices of them though, it just killed off their fantastic personalities.

hmm.... This is really tough. An evil poll, making me choose between two of my favourite anime characters... but since Spike is winning, I'll vote Motoko, just to even things out a little.

They want they want as much money as they can squeeze out of you! I'm still sticking with my original plan to sell off my 5 volumes I've got so far and buying the £30 box set.
