From Villainess to Healer v5-v7: Well, Sharon/Charlotte has her reputation restored and was given the chance to return as the duke's daughter (and get married and settle down to a life of posh parties and intrigue). For some strange reason, she preferred to remain as an adventurer seeing all the...

From Villainess to Healer v1-4: excellent action isekai, about a young lady sucked into a MMO RPG, and forced to save the world (yeah, that old story). Each book is about 160 pages, which is quite short, but there is a lot going on. The title works for about the first 30 pages ... until she...

The Sorcerer's Receptionist v2: We follow Nanalie as she is learning on the job at the adventurers guild, eating drinking and reluctantly going to another ball at the Royal Palace. Then at the end, we find that it was all a cover story and all the action was "taking place in the next room"...

The Death of the Skeleton Swordsman: Dominating as a Cursed Saint v1-v2: Interesting take on the zombie curse, as our hero spends 300 years as a skeleton and then has his flesh restored by a Holy Girl, so that he can fight other undead at her side. He's a bit too much in love with the ladies...

The Alchemist Who Survived Now Dreams of a Quiet City Life v6: this was a much slower and more complex story with mysteries abounding. Good way of developing the plot through dreams and I was getting a little Alice in Wonderland vibe for the world Mariela and her friends were stuck in. Really...

Farming Life In Another World season 2: Nothing exciting but a pleasant enough journey as our hero tries desperately to persuade other men to come to the village, plus encounters with a number of new characters. Finally decided to give The Apothecary Diaries a try. Watched season one and...

The Alchemist Who Survived Now Dreams of a Quiet City Life v3-v5: Action packed as the adventurers and associates try to clear the dungeon before disaster strikes the town. All nicely wrapped up by the end of volume 5, so I wonder why volume 6 exists. Only one way to find out...

Onipan complete series: One from the latest Sentai sale. Not sure who this is aimed at. Probably pre-teen Japanese kids who like friendly monsters? Subtitles only. The story is of three girls from the Oni (Japanese monster) world, who are sent to live in the human world to improve relations...

The Alchemist Who Survived Now Dreams of a Quiet City Life v1-v2: Surprisingly good and well detailed. The story concerns a teenage alchemist, who was force-fed knowledge by her teacher (who then mysteriously disappeared). She used a suspended animation cell to hide in her cellar from a monster...

Isekai Tensei v1-v5: standard isekai fare, with the gods taking pity on a young man who died a sad death, reincarnating him into a world of magic and monsters with ridiculous cheat powers. He's currently got about a dozen girls after him and the queen is trying to marry him off to half the...

Mine is still sitting on the bench next to my media players. I really should play it sometime soon. :)

Ascendance of a Bookwork: Hannelore's Fifth Year v1-v2: Well, I wasn't wrong about all the boys wanting to marry Hannelore, but I wasn't expecting the Gods to interfere OR for quite so much politicking. It all seems to be getting ridiculously out of hand and I think Hannelore should just run...

Loner Life in Another World complete series: My Sentai sale items arrived and this was the first off the blocks. Generic isekai scenario, where an entire classroom is sucked into a fantasy world thanks to the appearance of a (never explained) magical circle. One, our hero, tries to hide but this...

I just remembered why I hated Viabox. The $35 option is only available to people who take out a $16 monthly subscription. The cheapest option for me was $108!

I contacted Viabox customer service on Monday, and they suddenly found my package on Tuesday. Wonder where it was was the last two weeks? Then I tried to ship it. Cheapest post option was $35 (Stackry last week was $25) and somehow, despite my not using Viabox since two houses and a different...
