As awesome as it is seeing everyone's collections, it saddens me to think how obsolete those DVDs are going to be soon, just like VHS is today. I spent a lot of money collecting anime on DVD, and now many of them are re-released on Blu-ray with better packaging, bonus content and so on…we end up...
The order to watch it in is the original series and then the two DVDs which provide an alternate ending for those who were butthurt. As Shiroi pointed out, one of the two alternative ending DVDs is just a recap so you may want to pass up on it depending on how fresh the events from the series...
I was going to start a discussion about this kind of thing. Distributors complain about poor UK sales and piracy, but even the music industry does more than the anime industry when it comes to providing legal routes for fans to acquire products quickly and at a fair price (eg. iTunes, Spotify)...
Bulletstorm was all about killing people in violent and imaginative ways while making up new swear words. I don't mind ultraviolence, but I feel the market is getting a little bit over-saturated with it. Not enough to start complaining, but enough to start getting worried.
I did a quick search and couldn't find a dedicated topic on this so I've decided to start one. How are you guys finding this sequel thus far? I've seen up to episode thirteen and things are really starting to get interesting in terms of how the previous series will connect to this one. Ao seems...
Also collecting two Gundam manga series'; MS Gundam: Lost War Chronicles and MS Gundam: Ecole du Ciel or some French **** along those lines.
I'm actually quite a big mecha enthusiast and I have some Gunpla. One of the main motivations for wanting to see more of the Gundam anime is that lately...
I've seen Gundam Wing and Mobile Suit Gundam, I'm looking to watch everything Gundam related at this point but not really sure which order I'm supposed to watch it all in. Are there any Gundam fanatics who can advise me on the best order to watch'em in?
When I listen to music whilst gaming, it's nearly always dubstep these days. Call of Duty: Black Ops is the only exception as I find myself blasting AC/DC tracks like Back In Black whilst gunning everyone down online.
As an iPad owner and someone who was recently saying how I'll be pirating all my manga for the iPad until distributors take their fingers out, I'm qute happy about this. I've been thinking about getting into One Piece so I may actually download this app and start collecting the volumes, but not...
Hm, I'll have to think about it whilst at work today. I might just order them but if I can't find volume one it's going to feel like a waste of money and time.
Those do indeed help but I would need volume 1 to make it worthwhile. God damn it I wish I took that Ebay bid more seriously, I might have been able to re-sell those after reading them for a tidy sum.
I'm in a bit of a pickle here, maybe one of you guys can help. I'm trying to buy the complete series of the Blame! manga. I can only find them pre-owned for ridiculous prices like £50-£150 for just the first volume. I was watching an epic Ebay bid which had the entire collection in excellent...
Read your post Nefer, but will reply to you directly later as I'm on the iPad. I just wanted to expand on my situation a little by explaining how my reading/watching habits go at the moment.
I like manga because there are less fillers in them and the majority of anime is based on a manga or...
