Been getting into collecting Pokémon cards recently, against my better judgement. Got lucky with Amazon invites for the new Phantasmal Flames set.

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve gotten an OOP NISA set from Japan, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice. Also a Genshin soundtrack set from the same Japan order and Shin-chan from Hit.

Only took almost a year, but it finally arrived.

Didn’t so much receive these today, more like rediscovered them. My mum was cleaning out a cupboard and found a handful of boxes (with manuals) for some of my old GBA games. I still have the carts but thought the boxes were thrown out years ago. Pretty sure the two Pokémon ones alone are worth...

Yeah... I own everything up to Hanamonogatari, so I ended up grabbing all six of them. Damn you MVM. Now if you want to put Garden of Sinners on DOTW for a similar price range, that's another large chunk of change you'd get from me... just sayin'...

More than one person in that thread being confident that it's region A locked is strange to me, when Japanese anime blu-rays have always been (like, 99+% of the time) region free.

Yeah, I always feel like it's hard to get too excited about any new announcement from AL since they always have multiple year+ old stuff that still haven't had any updates whenever they announce something new.

After seeing a couple of bundles in the spring sale for £55, which seemed deliberately priced to leave you 50p below the free shipping threshold after using the Anime Unlimited code, it doesn't seem like they're interested in letting people easily deal with postage costs.
