Adult Swim launches in France and Switzerland, possibly UK

Where was that posted? I don't know if it will be 267 it's a bit out the way and bit too close to movie channels as well to be honest. It will be interesting to see what Turner will announce in their next batch of press releases.

Adult Swim launches in France and Switzerland, possibly UK

I don't see a license for it and I don't know what channel it's going to broadcast on but I think a adult swim channel is a case of when not if now.

Adult Swim launches in France and Switzerland, possibly UK

As far as I know the UK is by in large the biggest market for adult swim's stuff in Europe. I don't think it's a channel as per say, I'm certain the Swiss AS is a block on Cartoon Network and the French one is an on demand service for IPTV which the UK has had for some while now........

Electric Sofa confirms they're airing anime movies

The guys at the [adult swim] facebook page answers about a [adult swim] channel, seem to get more vague each time. They're planning something, thats for sure.

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

To be honest doubtful for series but wouldn't rule out the occasional movie or two. From what I've heard the rights are too expensive for little in return viewer wise.

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

I don't think its a definite descision to shut down TCM2 yet, but all signs but to yes. Do you know personally that there's stuff going on behind the scenes at Turner?

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

Until we get official confirmation of TCM2 shutting down, I wouldn't be that optimistic of Adult Swim starting. It is unusual to plan out TCM schedule and not bothering with TCM2's would point to it's imminent closure. There is something up at Turner no doubt about that.

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

Sky Atlantic would my choice to pick it up. I don't know TNT to commision a fair amount of their own stuff, like the Closer, Hawthorne, Without a Trace and obviously Falling Skies. It's probably just more profitable to sell their shows to UK broadcasters in the long run like HBO rather than...

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

Never really quite understood why the haven't relaunched a TNT UK , to be honest......

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

To be honest, I know that Turner trawls those sites, so if they haven't put it up, I would expect it to be deleted soon. Surprised your Wikipedia page has lasted so long........ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adult_Swim_(UK_%26_Ireland) Told you Turner patrols those websites......

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

Think there is going to be plenty of life left in this story yet....... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adult_Swim_(UK_%26_Ireland) However I did find this little nugget, an aparrent slogan as well - A Place For Adults. Is a channel not far away?

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

I noticed that Adult Swim is conspicuously absent from the list though. :-(

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

I read that Mediaboy on the forums had wrote Adult Swim (broadcasting soon) on his latest post.

Ofcom grants Turner 'Adult Swim' licence

I've more or less been told it is a broadcasting license for a channel (not from Turner themselves though) but don't get your hopes up as some companies will often by the license as they're relatively cheap but never bother launching the channel...... Though this is supposedly quite rare...
