I ordered the CE of Tenjho as a DOTW in July last year. Was £20 then, so if you ignore the shipping it’s slightly cheaper now. I’ve managed to watch it, but can’t say it was my kind of thing. An animated beat-em-up?

According to my email receipts, that’s the same price as the DOTW about a year ago. It’s decent enough, but there’s only three episodes here, as it’s apparently some prequel to a different series. Which means everything’s just left hanging and unresolved at the end

It’s not inconceivable that they do fix and supply the advertised product in the CE, and perhaps just use the “faulty” discs for the standard edition? Other than the fact that they make so many of these mistakes, I don’t see why they couldn’t correct something that’s being sold at a fairly high...

I would just have assumed that the cost of a dvd edition is literally peanuts now, so even selling cheaply and in low numbers is just profit. After all, the encoding is to a legacy and mature format, and is already digitised for the (U)HD versions, the programming (menu and structure) is far...

Buying individually so far has worked out as £45+£25x4 = £145 (before any 10% or 15% discounts) But I’d venture a guess that these bundles won’t come with the “extra” cards either?

It seems that Nadia is about £20 more than a couple of years ago (I still haven’t watched it!), Future Boy Conan is just a penny more than last year (so I guess that’s acceptable), and Kill La Kill standards are something around a tenner more than I paid for the three CEs plus box. The prices...

The page to join / renew (un)limited doesn’t seem to be working (no “form” displayed). So I guess if it doesn’t get fixed shortly, I’ll be saving a bit of money (at least until Xmas!) - it’s deciding for me.

Now I just have to decide if I should renew my (un)limited sub, as I’ve let it expire… I always seem to buy a fair amount, and it only takes about £360 of the extra 5% to recoup the £17.99 (albeit it needs to be a single order). But I’m finding making the postage minimum with “flash sale” items...

Part 2 is still in their clearance section at £7.99 Combining two parts into a single set is usually just a rebox of the same discs. So although more compact is kinda nice for a non-ce, I don’t think I’m missing out.

@MVM can I ask you rethink your use of A4 bubble mailers for packing multiple “standard” cases? I’ve now had at least five shipments in a row where at least one case has suffered damage or cracks, and I’m simply going to run out of replacements if this keeps up. I think it wasn’t previously...
