That was part of my observation; I did have several other deliveries with the “usual” box containing bubble wrapped bundles and air pillow packing. I only order CE/LE/UE/Steel titles (from AL), so such packaging seems basically sensible (I assume Amazon and the like are ok with a 50:50 or so...

One of my orders from AL (3 items) was rather minimal just soft card and bubblewrap wrap-around. Took me by surprise, as used to be entirely small boxes (with air pillows).

And now I do have an email on this subject of shipping. Although I guess no detail, just reassurance that the orders are not forgotten. So the criticism and suggestions have presumably been noted and acted on.

The AL Xmas stuff is always subject to delay and disaster. I expected some of that, but am slowly getting items. At best there would only be a pound or two of interest earned/lost (1%?) I’ll come back for hugs in February if the last of mine hasn’t made it by then.

Shows how much I know! I had assumed the new release having the same title was therefore the same thing. The good news is that I won’t be double-dipping then.
