That was part of my observation; I did have several other deliveries with the “usual” box containing bubble wrapped bundles and air pillow packing. I only order CE/LE/UE/Steel titles (from AL), so such packaging seems basically sensible (I assume Amazon and the like are ok with a 50:50 or so...

One of my orders from AL (3 items) was rather minimal just soft card and bubblewrap wrap-around. Took me by surprise, as used to be entirely small boxes (with air pillows).

And now I do have an email on this subject of shipping. Although I guess no detail, just reassurance that the orders are not forgotten. So the criticism and suggestions have presumably been noted and acted on.

The AL Xmas stuff is always subject to delay and disaster. I expected some of that, but am slowly getting items. At best there would only be a pound or two of interest earned/lost (1%?) I’ll come back for hugs in February if the last of mine hasn’t made it by then.

Shows how much I know! I had assumed the new release having the same title was therefore the same thing. The good news is that I won’t be double-dipping then.

I gave up waiting for Diebuster to be released and picked up the old Amaray for cheap. I don’t find myself inclined to upgrade: I’d normally go for a LE/CE/UE, but this one seems to be from the tail-end of their “Standard put in an outer box” phase, with just the art card and 16-page leaflet. I...

If this is literally some obscure anime with a title like “Dungeon Girls” instead of DanMachi 4, I’m probably still going to buy it.

Pretty sure they’ve been listed there for a while. I assumed they were a mistake, as £40 doesn’t really strike me as a “clearance” price.

It seems that checkout is still PayPal only, same as last week (and before Xmas). I was somewhat expecting this to be a task addressed upon “return to work”. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

Don’t want to pay AL’s £110? That’s £40 off! 🤔 Doesn’t look like many people risked the “clearance” bundle. I’ll probably stick mine in my for sale thread later, but dunno how much is reasonable.

If you want confirmation that the clearance titles are correct; I also happened to order the clearance bundle just to make up the shipping / just for the hell of it, and the Tower UE is in there (as are the others)
