I doubt it. Most of the stuff people want is already on streaming. Plus, hard drives are stupid expensive thanks to AI. The folks who are going to pirate are already pirating.

That’s what I thought. I was hoping to be able to continue collecting English friendly releases of Detective Conan since Discotek stopped, but I guess that’s another pipe dream.

I own the Japanese release of Devilman: Crybaby and the upcoming Anime Limited set looks to be mirroring it. I can assure you it’s likely going to be an oversized box set.

The masters they're using will be coming from the same source. They're just encoding the discs themselves since Viz's work is notoriously awful.

The licenses for Dear Brother and The Rose of Versailles are almost certainly expensive compared to EX-ARM. I guarantee you AL licensing the latter has no affect over them picking up the former.
