am watcing Place Promised in Our Early Days now, my friend Aj was raving about this movie.
wil rate it when i finish
in terms of non anime Ive just got back from Fantastic MR Fox
6/10, great animation, but strays pretty far from the warm glow feel of the book -or at least how i remember it.
true, constructive criticism i meant, it doesnt bother me, i did want to talk to him, simply ran out of time, i freelance and study at same time + work- im always under the gun
i have thick skin anyhow
nb every article i write gets -ve comments, part of the job
mostly its time, word limits and deadlines thats prevents wider interviews with more subjects
year i did, i just graduated in postgrad journalism- looking for a journalism job now actually. i occaisonaly write for the guardian, though not often and ive taken a break from work the last two months
thks
sadly the chance of merging journalism with maga/anime luv is slim
cool thanks for the heads up, i havent seen metropolis
regarding why anime i largely absent from Uk TV- and indeed it is beyond the Ghible fare-i wrote an aritcle for the Grauniad about this, might answer a few questions
