I apologise if this is a dumb question, but how much is the shipping/postal costs at forbiddenplanet.co.uk? I had a quick browse and couldn't find anything about it - Once again, sorry if i'm being a fool and the answer is right in front of me.

Not bad. Except the only Manga I'm interested in picking up right now is Nausicaa.
Yeah, Nausicaa is released by Viz so isn't included in the offer as far as I can see. I hope I'm wrong there though, because it's a fantastic piece of work!

I might use this offer to catch up on Battle Royale and Fruits Basket actually...

Actually, Trigun is released by TokyoPop right? I might be interested in that (assuming the volumes are in stock, which I never find to be the case for some reason).

Dark Horse Manga ;)

I'm sure this offer applies to Del Ray books as well because on Saturday I picked up the first 3 volumes of Negima in Forbidden Planet Sheffield for £15.

When I checked last week it was £1 per item or more for heavier items, i think it's safe to say tokyopop books aren't heavy.

Hasen't this been going on for awhile? I remember going in ages ago in the glasgow store and seeing the offer. I got 6 books for £30. One of them was trigun Maximum vol 1.

Tokyopop ?My local comic store in birmingham has a similar offer but their deal is any 3 books £6.99 or under for £15 for any selection of manga titles. Although forbidden planet in Birmingham is expensive as hell and they never do student discounts. ^^

It's a good offer, but I think that the Blackwell's London sale for 3 for 2 on all manga. As people who went to the London meet will know, this was a deal hard to resist!

Where else in birmingham sells comic books? I only know about forbidden planet.

*clongs Negima 1 - 5, Initial D 3 - 4, & Battle Royale 1* Also agreed! A shame we went to FP first, else I'd have bought more!

Erm, This isn't working for me. I clicked on 3 volumes of Fruits Basket and they want to charge me £5.42 each plus £1.00 per book shipping each!? Nice try.

Thanks!

I went into forbidden planet after school on Monday and I was surprised to see that some mangas were 1.99! Has anyone else seen this in their local forbidden planet?
