That makes sense, I thought it was weird that FUNi were using one spelling and everybody else, even people that normally go with the official English title were using the other.It's a series loosely adapted from some of his Kogoro Akechi stories. I think fans of his will be disappointed though, because the show abandons any attempt at creating a mystery fans can work out after it's second episode, and just goes straight for comedy-drama instead. Weirdly it's from the creative team behind the Assassination Classroom anime and it suffers from similar tonal uneasiness but to a much greater extent, the show seems to veer very suddenly from serious mystery to very childish comedy, often fairly dark in nature, and it does not fit together at all.That said, despite being aware of how flawed it is, none of them annoy me and I am really enjoying it. I think it is an acquired taste most will hate though.
