I actually just watched the first episode of City Hunter 1 again on a whim right now after seeing your comment, and yup its still great. Hope you enjoy the series, it ramps up a lot and gets real good :thumb:DYRL looks amazing on Blu-ray as you said, however what I found interesting with the Blu-ray is the spliced in Flashback 2012 scenes in the end which is notably worse quality PQ wise. Like you said, 2012 isn't in the best of shapes but I still loved the film itself and the way it looked. Might sound weird, but the dodgy PQ works in its favor and adds a level of authenticity to the whole production I feel similar when watching the Daicon shorts.
