If you want an example of a humorous fan service show done well, it's definitely worth checking out. It's also pretty funny too - in a way it belongs far more to the old school of 'my girlfriend is an alien' style harem shows like Urusei Yatsura - it's also slightly tamed down compared to the manga version too, so no nipples.
