Sailor Moon (Viz English Dub) - Episodes 01-03

I like the Viz Media dub, though I had never seen the show prior.

Now for the Blu-ray quality. It's bad. Not even close to being perfect. I'll get Part 2 regardless (I don't want an incomplete set alright?) but I hope Viz improve on this with the later seasons and most importantly the movies. I know the DVD pillar-boxing is getting fixed for Part 2 onwards but seriously Viz why didn't you just keep it DVD only and wait for Toei to create their own Blu-ray master?

As a result I won't pre-order Sailor Moon R until I hear about how the VQ is like on that. If you haven't listened to the ANN podcast, Viz basically ignored the actual situation with no plans to recall the discs and declared the DVD sets with pillar-boxing issues to be a 'Collector's Edition' as a joke.
