Chuunibyou
-- just cemented my blood-lusting hatred for abstract 'art' inside me forever.

I wish Andy Goldsworthy a horrible, painful, and embarrassing death.

But srsly, know what his gallery is decorated with? - ****.

That's right, his gallery is quite literally sheep ****, smeared, splattered, and catapulted onto canvases.

YSP is to art, as MTV is to decent television.

LOL! Random people in this world eh? And people actually pay or soemthing to see this stuff?

Apparently so.

There are donations boxes littered around the indoor gallery, and people are throwing twenty quid notes in there etc.

You think that's bad lol. At least smthing was done with ****. Couple of years ago I wandered into an art gallery of poo, where there were just logs everywhere dryed out and put on display!! Big ones, small ones, Puddles!!!
WTF!!

It was the same there too with the donation boxes! OMG!

Trust me Faye, there are people out there that actually like this. Our course leader likes this guy, as he's mentioned him a few times as a recommendation for reference in one of our projects.
I looked at his drawing for this, and it does look like something even I could do. Personnally, I'm not that impressed either; not much of a modernist.

Just take a few deep breaths and acknowledge the fact you're gonna see things in art you would like to digest. It's still good, at times, to research even the bad points of art, just in case it triggers something, or you want to relate it to another thing.

I'm still coping with it, and swallow my pride when it comes to producing research, and taking parts of his work and making something out of nothing, **** in this case...

It just burns me up I guess, that there are artists out there who put hours and hours, sometimes up to weeks creating one piece, which'll never become noticed past the artists own eyes.

My tutors did think this crap was great 'art' by the way. :?
