I think Miracle Train is still on Crunchyroll...

The available-in-English manga series Train*Train is also excellent for general Japanese railway station trivia, if you can stand the overall genre.

I'm guessing he wanted to train while he trains.

I looked up both, but eh... afraid neither of them really float my boat. I've had a sort of masochistic desire to see Tetsuko no Tabi ever since they covered it on imagine nation, so I'll maybe just have a look at that instead.

Edit: Rintaro also did an OAV called "Take the X-train" which is allegedly quite good.

At least that promotional is better than Million Dead's approach:

Wouldn't it be better if UK train liveries were interesting like that, rather than having the names of the last failed franchise scraped off and the new doomed to failure franchise applied every few years?

I still miss the GNER trains. They looked classy, not like the "Tesco Value" East Coast that replaced them. Anything would look better than those.

For what it's worth, I think Virgin's trains look nice, and at least they're clean, unlike GNER's/East Coast's.

And now, I am creeped out.

Think Thomas the Tank Engine, but with massive lips. I don't wanna be run over by any train, never mind that one!
