Yesterday was a big day for anime DVDs with the much anticipated Dead Leaves (Manga UK) finally getting its UK release along with Bandai Europe's great looking Escaflowne Collection Box #1 (and not forgetting to mention the inevitably popular Christmas gift Evangelion Perfect Collection Box Set from ADV UK).
16th November releases
.hack//Sign #5

Conduct Zero

Cutey Honey #2

Dead Leaves

Escaflowne Collection Box #1

Final Fantasy Unlimited #5

Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi #1

Mazinkaiser #2

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Perfect Collection Box Set

Rune Soldier #3

Slayers Excellent

To view our full, comprehensive UK anime release schedule; please click here.

You read my mind i asked my parents for it seeing as I have zero money at all. I want to get Escaflowne but apparently the usa dvds are uncut and Im not sure if the uk ones are so i'll probably just get the usa one.

Anime (excluding extreme hentai) hasn't been cut in the UK for ages now. I guess the BBFC are waking up to the fact that anime can contain mature themes while also being able to entain kids (without freaking them out). A PG for Escaflowne is about right I'd say.
