Which anime has moved you the most?

I was wondering if anyone has ever been moved by an anime and if so which one has moved you the most.

I ask because I am moved by one anime series in particular, which is Gurren Lagann. I'm guessing that this is not normal. But for some reason I am always moved by the ending of it. This afternoon I just finished watching it again, and every single time I do, I want to cry - I am willing to admit that. I can't think of any other TV programme or film that I have seen that does that to me.

Kanon (2006)
Air (on TV)
Clannad (on TV)
Clannad After story.
They're emotional porn, if it didn't it would be a failure as a show and as a adaptaion.

I also found he last few episodes of Gurren Laggann to be really moving especially the final episode. Other than that there is of course both series of Clannad and the last episode of the tatami galaxy, I found to be really moving. I am probably forgetting a whole load of series here though.

The Mayoi Snail arc of Bakemonogatari is probably an obvious one, but I thought the Human Derby part from the first series of Kaiji rather pulled at the old heartstrings too.

Yeah, this. The inevitability makes it all the more wrenching.

Voices of a Distant Star is 25 minutes of pure heartbreak. Nobody in anime is able to make the viewer feel the pain of the characters as effortlessly as Shinkai.

The end of Gunbuster. Oh man. It gets me every time.

Paranoia Agent.

The dog dies :'(

For me when Ikari destroys the dream world got to me more, just because of his speech about how he was going to live in the real world even though he doesn't fit in or have a place in it

Though the anime movie which actually brought me to tears was Millennium Actress when the main theme kicks in as Chiyoko's saying how the key unlocked her memories of the Key man and the director says how she spent her life chasing a shadow. That stuff brought me to the edge, but when she says "It was the chase I really loved" it just gets me every time T___T

Outside of a couple of things already mentioned (Shinkai in particular), the currently running AnoHana is on course to top my list. Other recent stuff... a couple of episodes of Angel Beats, a scene towards the end of Madoka Magica, and slightly less recently the final end credit sequence of Gungrave.

Probably ONE PIECE in both happy and sad ways.

Aww man Choppers history arc made me so sad. Nami's was pretty bad too; I just don't like Nami that much.

Chopper Arc is probable my favorite of the short ONE PIECE Arc.

I must admit on my first watch, Nami wasn't one my favorite Characters. But after re-watching the series from the start through the Funimation DVD. I have to say Nami is probably my favorite character now. I love all the facial expressions she pulls and the way she manipulates the rest of crew to do her bidding. She the true Captain of Straw Hats with how un-captain like Luffy is.

Bah I just don't like her for various reasons; reasons that won't be considered 'good enough' by some though. Sanji, Robin and Chopper are my favorites though. Zoro is great too, though.

I don't know of any characters gained after the second one I named there so; so warn me if you spoiler tag 'em :p

Oh the end of Ouran moved me too. I think powerful displays of friendship/love or sacrifice move me in general, Gurren Lagann did move me as well in many ways, plus the end of Code GEass R2

Have no Idea how I forgot to mention wandering son from last season. Definitely one of the most touching anime I have watched. Its a shame that they started the anime mid way through the manga and only had one or two flashbacks though.
