What J-Rock cds should I buy in Tokyo?

Hi guys

I will be heading to Tokyo soon and need recommendations on new bands worth checking out. I will be buying a lot of cds and need suggestions on some top tunes as I haven't been following the j-rock music scene for a while. The kind of bands I like are: L'arc en Ciel, An Cafe, GazettE

His OST for ff7 dirge of cerberus was brilliant

If anyone was wondering the album its on should be Diablos and the song is called Redemption.

Nightmare. Best JRock band there is.

Nightmare, UVERworld, An Cafe (if you dont have it all already), alice nine.

Those are the only oes off the top of my head.
 
Luna Sea, Girugamesh, D'espairsRay, Oblivion Dust, Malice Mizer, Abingdon Boys School, 12012, Hyde from L'arc en Ciel's new project VAMPS,Psycho le Cemu,Kagrra,Kra,D,Penicillin,BUCK-TICK,Schwarz Stein,TM Revolution,MUCC...plus what everyones mentioned already :)
 
I'd recommend Monoral, early Diru stuff if you haven't already (i.e. their visual kei pre-Vulgar material, before they discovered nu-metal), High and Mighty Colour and early Mad Capsule Markets (anything before OSC DIS is as rare as hens' teeth over here, so you might have better luck over there).

Supercar intrigued me recently but Paul's the best person to ask because he alerted me to them. :)
 
Ah, admit it, you just wanted to rub the fact that you're going to Japan in our faces. T_T. But on serious note, Dir En Grey would have to be an awesome choice, that or Nightmare anyway, if you liked the Death Note Openings/Endings. Also, a MAXIMUM THE HORMONE Cd wouldn't go a miss either. Have fun ;].
 
I'd say Dir En Grey and MAXIMUM THE HORMONE. They are nice jRock. Dir en grey is mostly relaxing, nice guitar and singing. MAXIMUM THE HORMONE is more dark and "screaming" styled (Well, some songs anyway; Some aren't, and they are really good aswell).

Hi guys

Big thanks to everyone for their suggestions, needless to say I will be buying even more stuff now. :) Not sure how I will fit everything into a suitcase, but I will worry about that later.
