What is the longest running manga series?

Have been trying to research this but had no luck. Anybody have an idea?

I'm not sure where you'd get an actual list (even though such a thing should surely be out there somewhere), but I'd hazard a guess at Golgo 13 being one of them. It's been running continuously since 1969.

Reaper and Irony got there before me about Golgo 13, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure ran for a very long time if i recall, but i'm not sure if it's one of the longest running

For me, I would count KochiKame as "a" winner in this category, although I can certainly see the arguments for Golgo and Sennin Buraku. With not having had the breaks that Golgo has had, and being a more "standard" (even though that's really not what I mean, just using a word that I think will get my point across) manga serial, rather than a 4koma like Sennin Buraku.

Wikipedia does state that Sennin Buraku is the longest running manga but does not list how many volumes have been released. Of those that wikipedia does list here are the manga and volume lengths,

KochiKame: 170 volumes September 1976 – ongoing
Golgo 13: 148 volumes January 1969 – ongoing
Oishinbo: 104 volumes October 1983 – ongoing
JoJos Bizarre Adventure: 63 volumes 1987 – 1997
Doraemon: 45 volumes December 1969 – 1996

I have included the wikipedia links so you can check them for yourself. If you want volume length rather how long a manga has been running then Case Closed would be on the list with 69 volumes.

That's because it isn't that sort of manga, I'd assume it has zero.

Longest by volume are KoichiKame, Dokaben, Golgo 13, Cooking Papa, and Nijitte Monogatari

longest running (in years) are Sennin Bunraku (56-ongoing), Golgo 13(69-ongoing), Dokaben(72-ongoing), Abu-san(73-ongoing) and Haguregumo(73-ongoing)

While the manga has run for over fifty years now, it has had no collection volumes released in English. The only way to read the manga is to buy or subscribe to Weekly Asahi Geinō in Japan, or to buy the Japanese tankōbon.

According to Wikipedia, Sennin Buraku has been collected in tankobon it just doesn't say how many.
