What do you want to see in a Anime/Manga gallery?

Hi guys, I'm hoping to design a manga/anime gallery in London for a university project and I'd just like to see what type of art you would want to see or what type of things you would want in the gallery e.g. collectibles, anime cels, an room dedicated to akira/totoro?
 
By manga posters what do you mean? Aren't they not all printable reproductions? Or do they have limited edition and much more valued posters these days?
 
This depends... Is it your own work being viewed, or are you showcasing already existing (and popular) anime/manga products/shows/prints?

If it's original work, I'd say go with 3 pictures of long paper, and each one do a different genre. I.e. 1 Fantasy, 1 Mecha, 1 Horror (or ecchi :p ). Or if you specialise in a particular genre, just do 3 of that.

For a showcase, I'd like to see a poster with numerous groups of characters from different shows. Maybe relate to different companies, like ADV, Manga Ent. etc. That's if you're good at photoshoping.
Otherwise, maybe a group of minitures. This can be catergorised (e.g. Gothic Lolita, or a series) or pure random.
 
I'd be showcasing existing manga, but I'm not sure what a manga poster REALLY is, I understand that it may just be a digital reproduction but in terms of showcasing it in a gallery, I'd like to showcase something which is valuable or is part of a limited edition manga poster set? Does this exist or is it all just a mass production of posters?

I'd like to see a variety of subjects covered from the uber popular series like Pokemon, Naruto, Bleach to the less endulged in Hentai series letting people see animes many sides

Only problem would be, you'd need to section off the Hentai from kids, or put Ecchi stuff on instead.
Artistic nudes are one thing, but watching people having sex/extreme acts of lust is illegal for kids to see. And since this is a public viewing... :roll:
But still a good idea Skikes. Just have to see if BenLee can fit it all in. :)

Love how all of the ones listed are genres, then theres just pokemon thrown in there :p Its in its own little category... >.<

lolz i know!! i was trying to think of genre that just reffered to childrens anime but came up with... pokemon lol
