<a href="http://speedracerthemovie.warnerbros.com">Warner Bros. official website for Speed Racer has recently gone live</a> with a bunch of promotional images and videos (though no actual footage of the movie itself).

Speed Racer is being directed by the Wachowski brothers - the famous creative minds behind the Matrix trilogy and V For Vendetta. The Wachowskis' are known as massive anime fans, so it should come as no surprise to see them helming a live-action adaptation of the 1966 anime Speed Racer (known as Mach Go Go Go in Japan).
 
Damn it I was hoping for at least a teaser trailer at this point, although the car does look kinda cool, its just the spikey front end is alittle too much in my opinion
 
cool - racer x is matt fox [Jack from lost] he hopefully will do him justice

And Weres racer x's car design yet it was cool too but the MACH 5 looks lethal
