Viz to release Brave Story Novel

Yup, that's right, it's being released in a hardcover format for ~$23. :p

I don't know how long this has been released for, or planned for, but it seems to have just appeared.

EDIT: Just found out that it's 820 pages long.. That's one hell of a long book, I just hope it's not edited in some form or another. It was such a shame the Shakugan no Shana novel had to be edited -_-

I just put it on here because there was a press release announced today. Must have missed the previous one. :p
 
It was advertised on their site as early as July, I think. I guess I just keep my eye on these things. The press release is advertising it's release, I think, so that would make sense.

Did you notice this apparent edit of a large picture... somewhere inside, where they cropped the image of Shana in bed?

To start with it was the preview pics before the novel proper, secondly, the scene showed shana sleaping in Yuji's bed (he's clearly wierded out) in her undergarments.

I suppose that between the fact that Shana doesn't realy look that old and she's in her underpants, Yuji being shocked or not, it's not fair game.

Ah well, they described the scene in full detail in the book proper, so I'm good.

Heh, I was just kidding. I knew the implications =P

I'm about to start reading the book now (yes, at 1AM). I got my copy on Friday, though I'm a bit annoyed as it was bashed at the corners. I will hopefully post my initial impressions tomorrow.
