Viz has given a massive amount of information on upcoming titles, and their plans for 2008.
There are going to be massive amount of new manga titles for 2008 in both Shoujo Beat and Shounen Jump ranges.

Something worth mentioning as really quite special is the announcement of a Naruto manga BOXSET of all volumes 1-27. This is of course the first half of the entire Naruto series, and volume 28 will mark the start of the second half of the series. This will be released at the end of November/start of December this year (Thanksgiving in America).
EDIT: The boxset will also contain many limited edition 'premium' items.
Volume 28 will be on sale in March of 2008.

There is also a Death Note 'encylopedia' type book, and a novel for a 2008 release.

A boxset holding 27 vols of manga sounds a bit impractical. I just ordered all 27 vols seperately last week (got 1, 2-15 should hopefully arrive soon for my reading pleasure), hopefully the boxset isn't too much cheaper than what I paid and that the limited edition premiums are something I can live without as a Naruto fan.
 
Yeah, me too, I'm really put off by a few measily edits, especially the D.Gray-man one, I'm ashamed to have bought anything from Viz now. ;/
 
VIZ should learn to seal wrap some of their manga.

"Towels added to cover nudity in hot spring scene in vol 10. Various nudity and faint nipples (or suggestion of nipples) obscured, removed, or faded from various volumes"

Thats constantly though Negima! and I'm sure other manga's and it gets away with it by being Seal Wrapped.

Heh. I think it's just a rule they have to go by, it's the same for their edited anime. They have to remove ciggarettes.. uhm I'm not sure what else, guns as well I think, I've heard lots of different things that have to be cut out to be shown on children's channels :/.

The trouble with shrink wrapping is that it significantly reduces sales, as people can't look at it first. Besides the real problem here isn't Viz for editing this stuff, but the wierd problem americans seem to have with nipples. It's struck me as odd the idea that somehow simply airbrushing the nipples makes nudity in manga OK, when it otherwise wouldn't have been.
