Mmm, anyone can tell me if its the visa debit card or the visa electron (which is also a debit card)?
Do American websites accept Visa Electron? I thought they only took the standard variants.

I can confirm they do. ^_^ I've spent a few thousand over the years using my Barclays Visa electron on US websites. ^_^

Does my existing one actually need to be broken, or can it just be 'broken'?

Oh, and krab119, 'Placement financier' eh? Looks like some French...

Let us hope that customers new to the system will know how to avoid the £1.25 currency conversion fees. PayPal usually works.

When I had got a VISA card from Natwest, they charged me £1.25 for using Paypal, they refunded me and I left and went to HSBC
