Valkyria Chronicles, who else is playing?? (ps3 SRPG)

Got it Saturday, I'm stunned by the quality of the game. The realisation of the world/story is supurbly done and the graphics are fantastic!

For those who dont know Valkyria Chronicles is an alternate world version of WWII with a graphical engine which makes everything look hand drawn and coloured. The game style is srpg but with some third person shooting/movement.

I was looking into this last night. It looks good, but I'm not sure whether to get it or not. Money doesnt come easy at the moment.
 
It's only £19.99 at Gamestation (in store) at the moment - or was at the weekend. I've been very, very tempted. Since I have so many games going on at the moment and so little money I'm hoping to get it for Christmas.

i played the demo... (as im trying to find an rpg im interested in investing myself in)... and i found it soooo boring! but pretty... boring but pretty.
 
I think the story is actually rather good, though a little fantastic in places it seems nicely done with alot of thought.

You can actually ignore the story all together if you wish and just exit each bit. But i think it really adds to the game. The music is pretty nice too.
 
Ah ha I have it. I checked the A-Z and no joy y'see.

Also off topic a mo, does anyway have the like Super Street Fighter II HD here? It looks sweet but I'm not too experienced at SF so I'm not sure if its like too hard.
 
Just played the demo and love it.

Now I'm confused. I tried looking for the above mentioned Street Fighter game but its not there? IGN say it is up but, I cant see it anywhere. (I tried A-Z and Fighting games).
 
I dont think its out yet, people have been moaning about this for a while. its been out on the xbox for ages...

I just watched the intro for Valkyria on the demo and fell in love, which is why i bought it the next day.

Btw the story is good, there is some cheese, and i find the reporter is annoying but its got some good bits...

Yeah I just checked, its out on PSN-US, not UK. Dammit.

Valkyria looks great :) I'm gonna be hoping to get this now. Also wanna look at getting Left 4 Dead though. Oh the desicions =/

I'm not majorly experienced, but I think it's really hard. Like most fighting games, it's pretty easy for a while then it just spikes suddenly and kills you.

Still good though.
