It seems to appeal to a very narrow band of people as far as I can tell. Almost all single people hate the day, and most people in long term relationships pretty much completely ignore it anyway (I know we do). So it's just an excuse for those with someone they wish to woo or or in the process of wooing to get together, leaving everyone else scratching their heads a bit at all the pink hearts and roses which suddenly appear at this time of year REdited for a typo, not that there's much point as I was quoted with the bad text ;_;
