Guys need to know something about United Publications. Do they have any hidden charges i need to know about. Like at the door when it gets delivered? Cause i am thinking of ordering with them but i swear to god they charge you again at the door?Any help would be accpitated :D

They ship from the UK, so there are no hidden charges at the door at all. The only hidden charges are their postal fees since they calculate those when shipping, though you can always leave them a message to email you with the total first or something.

It's reasonable UK postage, i.e. the last box I received was very heavy (two NISA special editions) and it was £6; small packs and single discs will just be a pound or two. They show the exact calculations they use on the website somewhere.

They show you how much the postage is going to be when you go to the checkout. It's about £1.15 for a volume of manga and £1.50 for a small boxset.

its ok when you get used to using them you'll know what to do. like me iv ordered something from them yesterday and now im playing the waiting game

They're usually quite good. I've ordered from them a couple of times; and the staff seem to have a passion for the subject, I remember calling a while back to get some account details changed and we ended up discussing how the beginning of Elfen Lied and how it tricks the viewer.

???? it trick's the viewer

The beginning sets up the secretary to look like potentially a main character in more traditional anime.

She's dead a few minutes later

I just ordered Madoka, having been annoyed with HMV and Amazon lately. I already had an account since I found an order confirmation email but darned if I could get the password right and there was no obvious way to reset it.
