that's weird. i've had Love Hina #9 on my shelf at home for weeks now...is it a rerelease thing?

These are the Tokyopop UK release dates, depending on where you got yours it may be the US release, which is the same book but released a few months earlier.

Nothing on this list that I really want to look into atm, got enough other titles to be catching up on for now.

that explains it. it's a worthy purchase for Love Hina fans nonetheless. places such as Borders, Forbidden Planet and Travelling Man have copies, as do Ottakers.

Im tempted to start collecting GetBackers and Eerie Querie at some point in time.

Should finsh off some of the series ive only got half of first lol

I've had the first vol of Alichino for some weeks now on import, fans of fantastical and gothic stories will find plenty to like and the artwork is beautiful. I still need to get the last two volumes of Tokyo Babylon too, I'd usually import but, this will be a good excuse to see if the book stores in my area have started stocking manga

Battle Royal 8 has been out months, hell 13 has been out for ages

Not in UK bookstores it hasn't , certainly seen only up to 7 here in England myself. But comic stores may have import copies etc..

I mostly get manga off Amazon UK, and they generally have everything up to US release dates and save me so much cash. And thankfully the Forbidden Planet in Belfast is always up to date now, and even have a 3 for £15 offer on Tokyopop stuff. But it is great to see actual UK release dates as this will get non-specialist stores to get manga in. I've seen a growing presence of manga at Easons.

@ Paranoia Agent

The last two volumes of Tokyo Babylon are absolutely amazing...and incredibly painful to read. It's difficult to read but at the same time completely compulsive.

I'm a little surprised at just how many guys are talking about reading Fake and Eerie Queerie
Just a warning, volume 7 of Fake is "hot" so unless you can handle the idea of heavy sex scenes between 2 guys?!.........

There are a number of titles there only just released in USA, so that's a pretty impressive UK list :D

I really am considering getting FAKE. I really don't mind heavy sex scenes between males, eventhough I'm not gay I've heard some good things about FAKE so I might get it. ^_^ I'd just have to hide it from my parents. O.O

Well if you don't mind "hot and heavy" with guys as the main couple, then Fake is bloody wonderful :D It's one of my favourite yaoi manga books!
