Hello, ive just finshed watching all the tokko series one, and i enjoyed it loads!!


please please please tell me there doing a second series?

also whats you views on it?
 
Sorry to disappoint you but there isn't a second series (not yet anyway *crosses fingers*) Though watching it i couldn't help but wish season 1 was a more standard 26 eps then 14 as i thought the final vol seemed rushed with what was going on and all. A good show though, i enjoyed it :) plus i always get the opening song stuck in my head for a while after watching in it...
 
It's not the kind of thing I usually watch, but I'm a sucker for super-low-priced boxsets.

It was a pretty average show to begin with, but the lack of a proper ending made it worse.
 
I actually quite liked it the story seemed okay and there was enough action to keep it interesting. I just wish they had run it longer to finish the story, as I feel it was probably less than half way with what they could have done.
 
Watched the first 4 eps so far.

Seems to be just getting interesting.

My only complaint is the standard of the animation, seems poor to me. Im not exactly sure what it is about it but it seems like its been done cheaply.

As for the cars, my god they move like someone dragging a mouse curser across the screen.

Sorry been wanting to have a rant about it since last night. Im done now :lol:
 
Well have decided to send it back to Amazon again as the DVD's are juddering when I play them, especially the 2nd disc, it went nuts last night, funny thing is the 1st set I had the 2nd disc was the only one that worked properly.

Ended up putting into my Ps3 which played it the quietest but it was still distracting.

Anyway, I got through 6 eps and I feel disappointed. Was expecting more and as I said before, the standard of animation is poor and this is more distracting to me than the noise :(

Nothing in particular. I just think a lot of anime, thats out, lets say Speed Grapher, Trinity Blood & Ergo Proxy all have a better standard of animation/art.

Not sure exactly what it is to be honest, maybe its the digital colouring thats not as good or maybe it is the drawings, something about it just puts me off. I found the same with Shura No Toki (SP?) as well.

Plus whats with the 1st minute or so of each ep repeating the end of the last? and although this can happen in quite a few anime, I'm not too keen on when you see slash slash and the after effects (hope that makes sense), lets see the sword go through the body (god that could make me sound sick)

Anyway if you like it, that's fine. I'm glad you do. After all if we all liked the same things what a boring world this would be :lol:

That's what i was refering to when i said animation in the fight scenes :p
