To trust Amazon?

I was thinking about buying anime & manga of amazon what is the possability of it being fake?

& how many people of this forum have purchased from there?
 
If you have enough knowledge of the release you're trying to buy, you should be able to spot anything that looks dodgy. There were only a few examples of Amazon selling bootlegs that I've seen, one was Sailor Moon I think. They're fine 99% of the time though... If you're worried just post a link here before you buy it to get a general consensus back as to whether or not it's legit.

Well, if i do buy it'll be the 1st time i've purchased of the net & thanks i'll post the pic up when i decide wther to buy it or not.
 
You won't get a fake buying from Amazon. The marketplace is a different story. There is a chance buying bootlegged anime there, but to be honest a bigger problem is selling R1 copies without saying they are. I've never seen bootlegged manga, it's probably too much hassle to print for lazy pirates, so I wouldn't worry about getting bootlegged manga.
 
It looks perfectly fine to me, they have pretty good feedback - might be worth reading the negative feedback though. It's only a single volume anyway, and I'm pretty sure bootlegs only concern boxsets really.
 
Its real if you buy directly from Amazon, I always buy manga and anime there. Dish out the £20 to Amazon if you want to be 100% that you will be getting the genuine thing, Or you can probably get the same thing cheaper somewhere else.

I've never tried the marketplace, Its apparently very trustworthy though.
 
If youbuy direct from them you will have no probs, i have also bought from amazon sellers and i am an amazon seller too and have never had a problem whith shopping on there
 
Amazon are only one of the biggest retailers on the internet.

Of course they'll sell fake and pirated stuff. :roll:

Try researching to see if it's real.
