Tite Kubo Will Oversee The Production Of 4th Bleach Film

The official website of the fourth Bleach anime film has launched on Monday with the movie's title and release date: Bleach: Jigoku-hen (Bleach: Hell Chapter) on December 4. According to the website, the Jigoku-Hen subtitle signifies that the story takes place in a place unvisited by Tite Kubo's original manga, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year. As Eiichiro Oda did with last December's One Piece Film Strong World, Kubo is personally overseeing the production of the new Bleach film.

Sales of advance passes bundled with nine exclusive double-sided character posters will start on July 13. The Naruto Shippūden: The Lost Tower anime film will open on July 31 with a trailer for Bleach: Jigoku-hen.

Dang and there goes one of my ideas for a future arc the manga could go. I've often said that Tite has just left the idea of hell hanging since we first saw it early on. I was sure he was going to explore it more once this business with Aizen had been dealt with...Ah well nevermind eh.

This may be good, shame we'll have to wait till 2012 to see it given how quick the movies are coming out other here.

Well it's an arc I've been wanting to see from the beginning and hopefully Kubo overseeing it would improve it somewhat so I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it'll have more substance to it than the actual manga does atm...

I wouldn't rule out a manga arc to go with the movie, tbh.
