Today I was pointed in the direction of a game called The White Chamber. From what I've played so far, it seems quite interesting. It's done in an anime style, and is a point and click type of game. It's freeware, so you don't need to worry about paying for it.

Apparently it gets quite gorey later on, so I'd say it gets a 15 age certificate.
