This is either Play.com Exclusive or they have made a mistake. As I can't find anyone else listing a Blu-Ray of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time on it's own. You can only get it elsewhere in a double pack with Summer Wars for £29.99 and it will be released just few days after the below release.

(Blu-ray) The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
(RRP: £19.99)

Seems a bit weird not to release on its own. While Summer Wars/ The Girl Who Leapt Through Time boxset is better deal, not everyone would want to have buy Summer Wars to get Blu-Ray edition of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

If this is an incorrect listing, then why can't you just buy the double set and sell the Summer Wars BD at CeX or on here or something?

It looks like it maybe a mistake on play.com behalf, as it not in stock and it's still stated as a pre-order.

Manga have stated that its the licencing that restricts them in regards to a single release.

Seem a bit of crazy stipulation by Japanese licensee. As you would think they would be more against them selling 2 anime Blu-Rays films in a cheaper box set than selling them separately.

Maybe because of the inconvenience of it all?

Cex will not necessary payout cash for Summer wars and may try to force voucher on you instead. Also selling it separately means you will probably lose out money wise who ever you sell it to.

No that's why the extras are on dvd.
It's HMV that means we have the double pack, as they won't stock a rerelease of GWLTT on it's own.
