Yup, I been watching a bit of it and reading the reviews... But a lot of people were worried if its gonna be fanservice, and not a really good anime.

That is true, it is Fanservice, in the Same Vain as the likes of FF7 and countless Game > Anime conversions, DMC is fanservice. Explained in this First Impression.

Basically, I haven't watched a lot. But I am still going through with the series. And if you're wondering, I'm watching it in Subs.
 
It's ok but little to much talking and dante has been turned boring agian unlike dmc3 were he made cheesy hollywood comebacks.

So far the demons have been a little dull there like blobs with eyes and fight scenes only last a minutes at best.

He also calls lady "rady" :evil:

But i'll watch the lot since i'm a dmc fan like ff:unlimted :roll:
 
I have only managed to watch the first ep, will hopefully be watching ep2 tonight when I get home. I agree the demons are weak and.... I'm sorry but he IS DRIVING A CAR, where is his cool bike.

I love the gun play though so will watch it for actions sake and push the other complaints I have to the back of my mind
 
I really have not liked it so far. I have found it very cheesy so far. the humour has not really worked and as has been said the demons have been very uninspiring. I was expecting some decent action scenes but they have been over in a blink of an eye. Im hoping it will pick up a story ark instead of being one off episodes or i cant see myself continuing with it.
 
i read yesterday that this show was licensed by ADV films....so something to look forward to i guess.

i havn't watched this yet (nor have i watched any other anime in the past 4 months -_-), but from what i am reading seems like 'you either like it or you don't '
 
Not sure what to think after just one ep. Dante seems a kinda depressed, not enough cheesy one liners by half. The action is decent however and is smoothly done true to madhouse's reputation (though yes, the monsters are dull.)

The whole things a bit flat so far, I hope it evolves into something more interesting but I'm thinking it'll be a brainless actioner.

Oh yeah, did I see Dante completely rip off Alucards classic reloading with teeth move? :shock:
 
I've seen the first episode of this one and I really like it... the action and the animation style... I will look forward on this coz the spring list of anime were not that great in my liking except for lovely complex....
