It's back again, the official top 10 anime's voted by the forums users

in 2005 Ghost in the Shell, Bleach and Cowboy Bebop stood tall, and while GITS fell away in 2006 Cowboy Bebop and Bleach continued to dominate the chart, this time joined by Evangelion and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Will it be the same again this year? There has been some big titles since last year, Code Geass and Haruhi being some of the biggest, but all will be answered before September ends (no Greenday jokes please)

So incase you missed it last year, here are the rules

The Rules

* Post a list of either the top 5 or 10 anime you like best in the order you like them. The top must be your favorite with the bottom the least
* Your list should be 1 list covering any series/oavs/films you like. (OAV's/movies/sequals go under the original name as long as the main cast is the same (eg: Naruto would cover the movies, orginal series and Naruto Shippūden where as Gundam Seed would cover Destiny and the OAV's but not the other series such as Wing)
* Try to use the english title, if known.
* You can edit your post any time up to the deadline to change your top 10 but votes after the deadline will not be counted (please don't post more than once if you change your mind)
* You have until the 30th of September to post.
* Results will be compiled and presented at beginning of October in data and table format.
*Remember this is a poll to see how well a series is doing to the UK community, do not start a fight or insult another person because of their choice in animes. Doing this will be considered a flame and reported to a moderator.
*Points- Points will be counted like this
1st choice = 10 points
2nd choice = 9 points
3rd choice = 8 points
4th choice = 7 points
5th choice = 6 points
6th choice = 5 points
7th choice = 4 points
8th choice = 3 points
9th choice = 2 points
10th choice = 1 point

naturally people who only post top 5 will only get the 1st - 5th choices

others have tried a manga version of this, but had little success with it, so personally i'm keeping well away from it :wink:

@ Ryo - it depends how many series people mention, but it may be a good idea only putting series that got more than 10 points in the final list, otherwise single votes skew it and it ends up looking rather odd at the lower end.

Anyway, here's mine. As always it's a fairly fluid list, but it'll do for now ^^;
