"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" Game Coming West In 2016

Bandai Namco Games announced today that <strong>Sword Art Online: Hollow Realisation</strong>, the latest video game based on Reki Kawahara's best-selling light novel series, will be released on Sony's PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita systems in Autumn 2016.

First announced for the Japanese market in October 2015, the game takes place in the experimental "<em>Sword Art: Origin</em>", a brand new virtual really MMO based on the servers of the franchise's infamous titular title.



<strong>Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization </strong>marks the third video game based on the hit anime franchise to be released in western territories by the acclaimed <em>Tekken</em> and <em>Tales Of</em> publisher, following <em>Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment</em> and the recently released <em>Sword Art Online: Lost Song</em>.

The announcement of <strong>Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization </strong>marks the third video game based on the hit anime franchise to be distributed internationally by the acclaimed <em>Tekken</em> and <em>Tales Of</em> publisher, following last summer's digital-exclusive release of PlayStation Vita title <em>Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment</em> and last month's PlayStation 4/Vita dual release of <em>Sword Art Online: Lost Song</em>.

Anime Limited are currently releasing the <em>Sword Art Online II</em> anime series in the United Kingdom, following Manga UK's release of the first season. Yen Press are publishing the novels and manga adaptations in English-speaking territories.
